With over 100 flood warnings in place as a year’s worth of rain falls in a matter of days in the UK, FloodFighters is returning to Seawork with a conference, workshops, pavilion and trail.
Chaired by Roy Harold MBE, former UK Chief Fire Officer & NFCC Water Rescue Lead, the FloodFighters Conference takes place on Tuesday 9 June 2026. The conference will take an in-depth look at;
- ROVs & UAVs in Search And Rescue
- Multi-agency collaboration
- Small rescue craft design evolution
- Training & standards
- Flooded port recovery.
CPD Workshops are in action on Wednesday 10 June. The Live Demonstration Day will see;
- Hands-on SAR tech demos
- Drones + ROV integration
- “Common operating picture” systems
- Real responders from Wessex Rescue sharing live incident experience
Flood response, water rescue, and SAR technology will be on show at the FloodFighters Pavilion, hosted by Professional Rescue, the specialist risk assessment based water safety consultancy.
Exhibitors and visitors alike will benefit from shared meeting and lounge facilities, built-in networking with neighbouring specialist suppliers, and an operational, cross-agency environment tied directly to real incidents, real responders, and real procurement needs.
