Action packed Wednesday at Seawork

The second day of Seawork 2019, Wednesday 12 June, will be packed with opportunities for knowledge gathering, networking and entertainment.

The day begins with the first of the popular Seawork Commercial Marine Conferences, this year featuring the developments in USVs. In the afternoon the conference programme will focus on the future of Hybrid Propulsion. Delegate places are still available, book here.

Also in the afternoon, the Women in the Marine Industry event will take place, enabling visitors and exhibitors to enjoy informal talks from key speakers and a valuable networking opportunity.

As the afternoon draws to a close all eyes will turn to the purpose-built temporary Seawork commercial marina as the watery showdown known as the Moteurs Baudouin Cardboard Boat Regatta gets underway. Exhibitor will race against exhibitor in their home-made vessels, and this time the event will have an international flavour with country pride at stake…

In the evening members of the National Workboat Association will gather at the exhibition for their annual dinner. This is the first time the dinner has been hosted at Seawork and members will be able to mix business with pleasure at the end of a busy day.
