ASAP celebrates 30 years in business

ASAP Supplies, based in Beccles, Suffolk, celebrates a significant milestone of 30 years in the marine industry on 1st April 2019.

The company started in April 1989 with a small garage and a delivery van. Co-founders Mark Reynolds and Peter Edwards began supplying marine equipment and spares to local fishermen, businesses, boat yards and leisure boaters.  Tremendous hard work combined with their unique drive and enthusiasm enabled the company to steadily grow allowing the pair to acquire a warehouse and set about supplying local and national customers with all their boating needs.

In June 2017, ASAP Supplies was acquired by Arleigh International; enabling further development and growth.

ASAP Supplies takes great pride in its technical knowledge and places customers at the heart of its business strategy. In March this year, the company was recognised for excellent customer service when ASAP won the ‘Customer Focus Award’ at the 2019 UK Customer Satisfaction Awards Ceremony.

Cheryll Gill, General Manager at ASAP Supplies comments: ‘The company has grown rapidly, thanks to the hard-working dedicated team we have and the unrivalled service we provide to our customers. We are looking forward to another successful year ahead.’

ASAP's plans for its ‘Pearl’ year in the industry encompass further expansion of its product range of quality marine parts and spares, investment in its award-winning website and maintaining and building new relationships with boat owners, boat builders and engineers.

ASAP Supplies will exhibit at Seawork 2019 this June.
