CECA partners with M&CCE Expo

CECA, the Civil Engineering Contractors Association, is to partner with M&CCE Expo (Marine & Coastal Civil Engineering Expo) which will be held 9-11 June 2020 in Southampton UK.

The representative body for companies who work day-to-day to deliver, upgrade, and maintain the country’s infrastructure, CECA is active in the key sectors of transport, energy, communications, waste and water.  CECA has more than 300 members spread across eight regions; representing firms who together carry out an estimated 70-80 per cent of all civil engineering activity in the UK.

Peter Crosland, Civil Engineering Director–National for CECA, said, “CECA is delighted to partner with the M&CCE Expo. Taking the national body out of London and straight into the heart of one of the most challenging sectors, that of marine and coastal civil engineering, gives many of our smaller organisation members the opportunity to mix with Tier I and Tier II companies and vice versa.”

Crosland explains, “Much of the innovation in our industry comes direct from SMEs as a response to their involvement in strategic infrastructure.  As providers of exciting new techniques and technology, access to the key players in the research, planning and development stages is vital in enabling these large projects to come to fruition.”  CECA is to exhibit at M&CCE Expo and will be supporting its members and regional organisations with a number of national meetings to be held on site during the Expo – details to be announced shortly.

For 2020 there is an exceptional offer for CECA member companies interested in exhibiting at M&CCE Expo alongside the national organisation.  CECA member companies who sign before Friday 31 January 2020 will benefit from both a preferential rate and a free E-Cast; a solus opportunity for a company to reach a highly targeted audience with its own, exclusive message and artwork sent direct to the inboxes of the Marine and Coastal Civil Engineering industry decision makers and specifiers across Europe.  A full report on the open rate and engagement of clients will be sent 24 hours later and another follow up report a week later. This opportunity normally costs £2,495.00.

Andrew Webster, Chief Executive of Mercator Media - organiser of M&CCE Expo, said, “M&CCE Expo provides buyers and influencers with direct access to the marine and coastal civil engineering market, its innovations and people. We are delighted to be working with CECA to support its member companies in this way and look forward to welcoming them to the second edition of M&CCE Expo in its new home of Southampton, UK.”
