On her way to Seawork this year, the MV SeaZip 12 is a monomaran class crewtender, type Endurance 2727, built in aluminium by Next Generation Shipyards for SeaZip Offshore Service.
Powered by 2x MAN D2862 LE489, (1066kW) with a Servogear Ecoflow Propulsor twin propulsion system, she achieves a top speed of 22kts, transit speed of 20kts and a range of up to 1500nm.
The optimised hull form provides increased comfort, better seagoing characteristics and a high level of fuel efficiency. The streamlined wheelhouse provides total control and complete visibility during operations.
Crew cabins for 5, pantry and toilet, passenger lounge with 30 seats and coffee bar, wi-fi and video system are all accommodated.
Highly manoeuvrable at full speed as well as alongside a ship/quay or against turbines, the MV SeaZip 12 provides safe embarkation and disembarkation of crew and industrial workers in ship-to-ship operations or ship to windfarms in seas up to 2.5 m. significant wave height.
