First time Seawork exhibitor DCbright launched its range of marine floodlights at the exhibition.
Designed specifically for offshore and marine use, DCbright claim these are the first DC and AC floodlights made from 316L stainless steel which also meet the highest IP69K waterproof rating standards. Brand new at the show, DCbright says it is actively looking for international distributors for this new range of lights.
The company already has a successful market in floodlights used for aerial lighting, at sports arenas, airports, and in a numerous commercial and industrial situations. Headquartered in the Netherlands, with a manufacturing base in Shanghai, DCbright has doubled its revenue every year over the last seven years.
The new range of 316L stainless steel floodlights come in a range of sizes and meet all required regulations for vibration, corrosion and EMC standards. Features include the option to colour change from bright light to a warm light. With less blue light content, the warm light option is particularly suitable for use in fog or rain, and is also more environmentally friendly and less disturbing for wildlife.
DCbright’s CEO Niels Woalders said that the competitively priced 316L stainless steel lights comprise many advantages over aluminium and have a 20 year limited warranty. Users can upgrade the long-lasting LEDs – said to operate for over 1000,000 hours with only 10% light drop - within the original stainless steel housing, which is designed to last for at least 50 years.
