Decarbonisation - learn how to help your business

Marine Civils at Seawork, in association with CECA, is delighted to announce a series of bitesize online conferences for the marine civils sector focussed on Decarbonisation - what it means for you and how it can help your business. The first session will take place on Tuesday 5 October 2021 at 14:00 – 15:00 BST at the Seawork Connect event.

The inaugural session will focus on the benefits of HVO fuels in comparison to fossil fuels. As the industry takes steps towards achieving net zero by 2050, the panel of experts will look at the advantages of HVO fuels in both cost savings and the reduction of harmful carbon emissions.

The session will be opened by Peter Crosland, National Civil Engineering Director at the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) who will deliver the welcome address, and moderated by Chris Cassley, Policy Manager, at the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA).

The panel of experts joining Peter and Chris for this first session are:

Simon Lawford, Technical Sales Manager, Crown Oil

Andy Powell, Innovation Manager, Environment Agency

James Maclean, CEO, Land & Water

Learn from the experts and see how HVO fuels can work for your business; the value that can be gained from the use of drop-in fuels; and the long-term benefits to health and the environment.
