Exalto Wiper Technologies at Seawork

Exalto Wiper Technologies is introducing a new wiper controller design which will integrate into any NMEA® 2000 network on board.

Prior to this introduction there was no wiper control which could communicate in the NMEA® 2000 language standard.

The controller will be used on Safehaven Marine’s XSV20 'Thunder Child II' for its attempt to set a new UIM approved World Record for the North American continent to Ireland.

The Exalto digital NMEA wiper controller facilitates control through a single panel, or complete integration with an existing ship control screen.

Now available for all MFDs with NMEA® 2000 communication and integration, the control module connects to the MFD with a single plug & play connector.  The device is recognised and the Exalto icon is displayed on the main screen. No other controllers or digital switches are necessary, resulting in less clutter of individual control panels and centralised touchscreen control for the entire vessel.

This simply-installed technology and integration are a world-first within the window wiper industry.

Exalto Wiper Technologies is part of Exalto B.V. and is based in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, Netherlands. The company has established a reputation for quality, combined with a high level of technical knowledge for the requirements of windscreen wipers for the marine industry. In its production facility Exalto Wipers produce the best wiper systems to suit the demands of the market and environment.
