First reported as Nauplius' newbuild 29, the 'Burra Sound' has now successfully completed her sea trials.
Designed by Nauplius Workboats and built by SupTech Construction, the 'Burra Sound' "delivers strength, performance, and reliability where it matters most".
The 'Burra Sound' (21 x 8 metres) is designed as an aquaculture site vessel and exceeded Nauplius’ expectations during trials.
She achieved speeds of over 10 knots and demonstrated impressive carrying capacity: - 100+ tonnes payload without crane operations - 50+ tonnes on deck with crane operations - Crane capacity: 3,200 kg @ 13.4 metres

Sea trials completed, she will now be handed over to Scottish Sea Farms in Orkney.
