Explorers 'return' to the Antarctic
The vessels can perform multiple roles from transporting guests to carrying supplies. Centre console layouts are fitted with twin Ullman jockey seats and removable bench seating for a further 11 passengers and are equipped with state-of-the-art, networked, WASSP sounder systems to relay detailed information back to the mothership.
A single Volvo Penta D6.440 mounted under the console running on jackshafts to Volvo Dpi drives offers comfortable cruising speeds up to 30 knots and a top speed in the region of 40 knots in most weather conditions. Folding rear arches make for easy storage. Custom folding chocks enable quick launch and recovery.
