TMS RAMAN, a new Generation 4 FCB (Fast Crew Boat), is the first FCB with gyro stabilisation capability in Thailand.
This is the second vessel to be delivered to Truth Maritime Services (TMS) by Strategic Marine and follows TMS RANOD, delivered earlier this year, which was the first crew boat in Thailand to offer Hybrid Solutions.
The innovative Generation 4 FCB hull features the highly efficient Z-bow design, ensuring optimal fuel consumption and emissions reduction. The gyro-stabiliser will enhance TMS RAMAN’s sea-keeping during personnel transit and transfers onto offshore installations in adverse weather conditions.
This vessel is also equipped with a hybrid power (+) energy storage system to reduce carbon emissions, features business class comfort, and can efficiently transfer up to 70 offshore workers in business-class comfort, setting new standards in offshore transportation
