Preparations are moving fast as vessels, speakers and delegates confirm for this year’s Speed@Seawork.
Join us for a full day showcasing fast-working boats demonstrating the latest technology and equipment at the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) as Speed@Seawork returns to Cowes, Isle of Wight in 2024, for its 5th edition.
Network with an exclusive international field of delegates from the defence and specialist sectors including defence attachés, Royal Navy Command, Home Office, Border Force, 17 Port Regiment, ABP and the Metropolitan Police.
Hear from UK Ministry of Defence and Procurement personnel including speakers from the DE&S MOD Boats Team, NSO (National Shipbuilding Office), and the MAIB (Marine Accident Investigation Branch) with the first presentations onboard over breakfast.
Take the opportunity to participate in sea-trials, enjoy fast manoeuvres and equipment demonstrations. Vessels currently confirmed include craft from Zodiac Milpro which recently received a UK MOD order for 24 Intercept and Escort Craft, propulsion experts Proteum, Berthon’s defence and commercial division, MOD tactical craft, and the just launched very first hybrid powered by Scania.
Access sector-specific companies including OSI Maritime Systems and Axnes throughout the day at RORC’s new clubhouse facilities above the berths at Trinity Landing with views across the Solent, the perfect base to demonstrate the specialist fast craft and equipment.
