Joining the fleet

Marine civil engineering contractor and marine plant hire specialist Teignmouth Maritime Services Ltd (TMS) has welcomed a new addition to its fleet.

TMS has finalised the purchase of the “Sprucelight” from Briggs Marine. The 45m x 12m barge, built in 1992 by Harland & Wolff, has a large hydraulic loading ramp for plant off the beach or quayside if required.

A member of Seawork supporting association ADC (Association of Diving Contractors), TMS operates throughout the UK and Europe, delivering a diverse range of projects including Marine Construction, Commercial Diving, Marine Piling, Flood Defence schemes, inland Waterway Maintenance to name but a few.

TMS’ expertise is working on in-shore and inland waterway projects where there is minimal depth of water or where tidal working is required.

The welcome addition of the ‘Sprucelight’ to the TMS fleet is hailed by TMS as “Another milestone for us!”
