LineLauncher at Speed@Seawork
The product’s agent, Campbell Field will showcase the LineLauncher’s capability when he launches it from the vessel transferring Speed@Seawork delegates to Cowes on Sea Trials Day, Monday 10 June 2019.
The LineLauncher is powered by a 16g CO2 cylinder and when activated propels a hi-vis floating polypropylene rope and flotation device up to 80m. The LineLauncher weights 3.5kg and measures 0.8m in length. It can be used in any situation where a line needs to be launched from vessel to vessel, vessel to shore or shore to vessel including vertical launches. It can be used to recover a person from the sea or in a rescue situation, transfer goods or a heavy-duty tow/rescue rope.
The LineLauncher is an advanced emergency solution and can be re-armed and re-used after the cylinder is spent. It can also be used on land and its use is not restricted by any firearms regulations.
Ocean Safety is a sponsor at Speed@Seawork and the LineLauncher is one of several products which will be demonstrated by the company during the event.
Ocean Safety will also be exhibiting at Seawork on Stand PO31.
