Military Systems Integrator to join expert panel
Will began his career working in the military maritime domain in 1993 as a systems’ engineer, principally involved in the installation and support of navigation, communications and surveillance equipment aboard a fleet of law enforcement vessels, as well as for the Royal Navy. Latterly, his skills and experience have expanded sufficiently to allow him to provide expert consultancy on a variety of military systems and also expert witness testimony in maritime law enforcement cases.
Will is an experienced mariner who holds an MCA Masters CoC and this experience combined with his practical application allows the company which he runs, Ambex Limited, to be a key player in the naval domain. In recent years, his experience has been utilised in the procurement, refitting and re-purposing of a number of vessels from North Sea applications into law enforcement and maritime interdiction roles and he has also recently managed the recommissioning of an ex-UK patrol vessel for a new life as a maritime security asset operating in North Africa.
Ambex is a key provider of integrated Nav Comms and Surveillance systems including in-service support to the UK MoD via BAE Systems and Atlas Elektronik UK Limited. Ambex also owns and operates a pair of 16 metre tests and trials vessels including a 50 knot very slender vessel (VSV).
