Swedish firm Sittab Stol AB has pinpointed Seawork 2020 as part of its expansion plan into international markets. Formed in 1991, Sittab is a market leader in seat environments, developing and selling standard and customised seat accessories. Many of the company’s current products have been developed in conjunction with client engineering teams and departments. With the infrastructure and facilities in place to expand, Sittab is keen to continue to support its business strategy of innovation and international growth by working with new partners.
Promoting tools of the trade
Starting out over seventy years ago as a manufacturer of air tools for use in the auto and aviation industries, Cengar’s policy of product development has continued ever since with improvements to design, quality and materials cited as reasons why Cengar equipment is recognised worldwide. The company has designed and patented a number of specialist tools including the twin piston air reciprocating saw. Proud of its product reputation for reliability, low maintenance and operator safety, Cengar is based in Halifax, UK and is a member of The Made in Britain Campaign which supports and promotes British manufacturing. The saws are used for cutting every type of metal and composite across a wide range of industries including shipping, offshore oil and petrochemical, and now ship maintenance and luxury yacht manufacture.
Fighting for the best
Fire Fighting Systems (FFS) is focused on up-to-date design and engineering in order to provide the most competitive and best performing systems in the market. A leading designer, maker and supplier of external firefighting systems, FFS team of highly skilled engineers is located in Norway and Singapore with the company’s production and logistics centre located in é…mé¥l, Sweden. The extensive product range comprises pumps with drivers, gearboxes, fire water monitors, foam mixers, deluge systems, remote control systems and all related equipment required for complete installations. FFS supplies systems for tugs, offshore vessels, fireboats and work boats in accordance with all class societies, and recently supplied the system for the world’s largest fireboat; a 50m HMFV built by ST Marine for Singapore Civil Defense.

OceanTools is a world-leading subsea engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of equipment for the professional offshore and underwater markets. After a short break, Wardle Marine Services (WMS) is now making plans for its Seawork 2020 stand and is looking forward to showcasing some of its stock for the first time in the UK. Currently best known for its pontoons, the company became the sole UK distributor for PMS last year and is set to be joined by more of its manufacturers at Seawork 2020 with the emphasis on other industrial items that are now available from the WMS team such as wave breaks, pipe floats and security barriers with the ever popular pontoons taking more of a background role. WMS says it was spurred on by having seen some of the incredible technology and ideas showcased at Seawork 2019, and is looking to join its peers with further new products on the WMS water stand to impress the visitors.
