A new partnership will bring Steyr’s range of high-performance diesel engines to Golden Arrow Marine’s established commercial and professional customer base across the UK.
Golden Arrow Marine, now in its 91st year, will provide comprehensive sales support, installation services, parts supply and nationwide after-sales care for the Steyr Diesel Marine range, ensuring customers benefit from expert guidance backed by decades of engineering experience and service capability.
Steyr’s SE 4-Cylinder and SE 6-Cylinder diesel engines are specifically engineered for demanding marine environments. Featuring Steyr’s unique monoblock construction and advanced two-stage unit injection system, the engines deliver high torque at low speed, high fuel efficiency, impressive durability, and a power-to-weight ratio that provides a power density of up to 70 kW per litre. Steyr says the ‘compact design, corrosion-resistant cooling systems and compliance with international marine standards make them particularly well suited to commercial and defence operators seeking reliable, long life propulsion solutions.’
Julian Cassutti, CEO of Steyr Motors, commented, "Partnering with Golden Arrow Marine allows us to deliver faster, higher-quality service and closer support to our customers in the UK. As demand continues to grow, having a strong, locally based presence is essential to meet the market’s needs."
Paul Dean, Director of Business Development, Golden Arrow Marine, commented, “We are proud to be welcomed into Steyr Motors’ dealer network here in the UK. Their engines deliver the performance, durability, and efficiency that our commercial customers increasingly demand.
“This partnership fits seamlessly with our commitment to supplying high quality propulsion solutions across the UK maritime sector. We are excited to grow the Steyr brand in the UK and to support operators who rely on powerful and efficient systems every day.”
