An outdoor terminal which enables out of hours refuelling with automated payment was on show for the first time at Seawork. Designed and manufactured by Bulk Meter Services, the outdoor payment system would enable marinas to provide refuelling services at any time of the day or night and enable payment to be made at the terminal. The sophisticated technology within the system was supplied by Hytek and provides a detailed calibrated report, ensuring that both the consumer and supplier are assured that the fuel supplied and paid for is correct. “Through our collaboration, this is an ideal solution for a wide variety of users, from marinas to large offshore wind farms,” says Sam Grey, major works manager for BMS. “Seawork is a really good show for this particular product,” said Jack Tickner from Hytek.
BMS employs over 100 people at its headquarters in Kent to provide engineering solutions to wet stock management. The company works with trusted suppliers, such as Hytek, delivering solutions to the installation and maintenance of refuelling and supply systems, decommissioning and removal, as well as consultancy for environmental and pollution risks.
