Perfect match signs for Seawork
Over 150 combined years of experience in marine gearboxes and propulsion will be coming to Seawork 2023 as Kumera Marine (Kumera Helseth) exhibits for the first time at the exhibition.
Kumera AS (Norway) has more than 50 years of experience within marine gearbox manufacturing and has undertaken a significant investment into development of propulsion gearboxes. In addition, Kumera offers gearboxes adapted to various hybrid solutions and also has the capability to deliver tailor-made solutions for specific projects. Preventive maintenance and service is also an important part of the business.
In maritime operations – especially in wet dredging and offshore – Kumera gearboxes prove high quality on deck and in the engine room: from propeller transmissions with an output of 15,000 kW and larger, to excavator pumps, jet pumps, winch, generator and distribution gears to special cutting head and cutting wheel transmissions. Kumera gearboxes provide full power ahead.
Helseth AS (Norway) has more than 100 years of experience within propulsion. The core business is controllable pitch propellers (CPP), but also offers a range of manually adjustable pitch propellers (APP) combined with reverse gearboxes. The range of CP propellers delivered is up to 4500 mm propeller diameter.
Helseth is a highly specialized propeller manufacturer, operating in modern facilities close to Molde in north-western Norway. Since the first Helseth propulsion system was installed in a fishing boat in 1912, the company has long experience in manufacturing long-lasting propulsion systems. Today we serve a wide variety of small and medium-sized professional vessels such as cargo and passenger vessels, ferries, tankers, work boats, high-speed vessels, fishing vessels and offshore vessels. Helseth is a part of the Kumera Helseth – Marine Division of Kumera Corporation.
The range of marine gearboxes from Kumera and CP propellers from Helseth is a perfect match covering engine power range from 200 to 4000 kW.
