SeaworkConnect underway
SeaworkConnect, the virtual exhibition and conference is underway.
Andrew Webster, CEO of Mercator Media, producers of Seawork and publishers of Maritime Journal, welcomed all visitors, delegates and exhibitors.
Andrew noted that, whilst COVID travel restrictions have meant that an in-person Seawork will have to wait until next year, business still goes on; commercial marine is a vital part of the economy and still has information needs.
SeaworkConnect enables the audience to keep up to date through the business briefings by thought leaders, the conference programme and knowledge sharing and as a platform for businesses to network.
Andrew stressed that whilst SeaworkConnect is not a replacement for people and businesses meeting face-to-face and catching up in-person, “that will always be Seawork in June”, it does offer a complementary resource for people to attend who are unable to travel - the potential audience is extended around the world and exhibitors can still generate and track hard leads.
Andrew confirmed that the best aspects of SeaworkConnect will be incorporated into Seawork 2022 next year.
SeaworkConnect runs from today until Thursday 7 October.
