Simplex-Turbulo launches patented Nano Filtration Technology

Simplex-Turbulo supports a number of industries including the marine, offshore and power generation. It has come to Seawork to launch its new contract with Delta-Xero, which has produced a patented nano filtration technology to remove water, siloxane, varnish, particles and salts from hydraulic oil, lubricating oil and fuel oil down to 0.1-micron particle size.

Adrian Patterson, Sales and Marketing Director, Simplex comments, ”This is ground breaking technology because no other company can take contamination down to 0.1 microns (most competitors can only go down to >3 microns) which is well below the ISO 4406 (ASTMD975) limits. Taking out this contamination before it gets bigger is key before it does more damage to the machinery it’s filtering.  This filtration can also be used for hydraulic oil and transformer oil and can be used to filter diesel fuel to remove contamination before it gets burned in the engine. This then means less pollution and less damage to components of the engine because there is no contaminated fuel going in."

“It is great to work with such a pioneering company and Delta-Xero is growing massively at the minute and taking orders from many industries. At Simplex we specialise in the marine and power gen market, so it’s really good to be at Seawork where we have introduced our new partnership.”

Simplex has brought its whole product range to the show, which has been creating plenty of interest as Patterson explains, “This is our first time exhibiting at Seawork. We’ve always popped down and had a look, as we’re a local company but this time we have a stand and a very unique product that is creating a lot of interest. We’ve already spoken to a number of customers and we have some big opportunities to explore.”
