Digital technology and AI are increasingly being promoted as ways to reduce costs, improve efficiency and get more from vessels and people.

But rather than having a generic conversation about what AI could do, I think we should make this much more operational and focus on what is actually working in marine operations — and what isn't.

We will have one guest speaker who can bring a genuine case study or practical experience of using digital technology/AI in a marine operation.

The panel's role is then to challenge and explore that experience from our different perspectives.
