Neptunus has been awarded a three-year contract to supply temporary structures to Seawork/Marine Civils, the dual event which combines Europe’s largest commercial marine exhibition with a dedicated Expo for the civil engineering sector.
Organised by Mercator Media, a publishing and media company specialising in the marine industries, Seawork is a unique combination of undercover exhibition space, open air demonstrations and floating displays.
Marine Civils is co-located with Seawork for an exhibition which is staged over three days from June 13th-15th at Mayflower Park on the Southampton Waterfront. Around 6,500 visitors from over 60 countries are expected to attend.
The exhibition will consist of more than 70 vessels and floating exhibits for demonstration on the water with purpose-built exhibition halls, erected on the quayside by Neptunus, that will include conference and meeting facilities.
Events Director Marianne Rasmussen Coulling from Mercator Media Ltd commented, “Having worked with Neptunus previously on our Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition in challenging weather conditions, the team and I are thrilled to be back working with the Neptunus team staging our Seawork & Marine Civils exhibitions, conferences and awards in their high-quality structures.”
Ben Keast, Managing Director of Northamptonshire-based Neptunus, says, “We are delighted to have been asked to provide the temporary structures for such a prestigious and well-established event that in 2023 will be celebrating its 24th edition.”
Overall, Neptunus will supply around 12,000 square metres of temporary structures using Alu Hall and Alure Globe structures (as pictured at Frieze London) predominantly for exhibition space but with areas that will include a waterside restaurant, along with external canopied areas and a waterside viewing area.
