Chartwell Marine is to sponsor the European Commercial Marine Maritime Professional of the Year Award.
The prestigious European Commercial Marine Awards (ECMAs) celebrate the outstanding individuals and innovative companies that comprise this vibrant and productive industry sector. Maritime Professional of the Year Award is presented to an exemplary individual within the commercial maritime sector with the winner voted for by their peers.
Andy Page, MD of Chartwell Marine, won the award at Seawork 2022 and has taken the bold step of sponsoring the 2023 edition. An award winning pioneer in next generation vessel design and responsible for a number of innovative and market leading projects, Chartwell Marine is a Naval Architectural consultancy business which supports boat builders and vessel operators worldwide.
Here Andy explains what winning the award means to him and what that recognition brings to his company.
Incorporating the Innovations Showcase Awards, the European Commercial Marine Awards (ECMAs) attract entries from across Europe, recognising the depth of excellence in the commercial marine industry.
The awards will take place on the opening evening of Seawork and Marine Civils - Tuesday 13 June 2023. The ceremony is held on site at Seawork in the spectacular Waterfront restaurant, overlooking the Seawork Marina in Mayflower Park. Following welcome drinks and canapes, the first part of the evening will see the presentation of the coveted Innovations Showcase Awards. The second part of the evening celebrates the European Commercial Marine Awards themselves, with the presentation of five awards.
