Chance to see PE Composites prototype

On its quayside stand at Seawork visitors will have the chance to see the prototype 7m Rose Class Launch/Workboat from PE Composites (PEC).

The prototype was manufactured in 2011 and is in daily use. PEC is soon to start production of this versatile launch at its Newport base on the Isle of Wight. The launch can be used for a variety of roles including a harbour/yard launch, tender, towing launch, harbour ferry, and work boat.

PE Composites is privately owned and specialises in the manufacture and design of lightweight components using glass and carbon fibre reinforced polymer composite materials, and the machining of both metal and non-metallic materials.
