Hot on the heels of OEG’s new CTV, the next Brevity SL Class hull, Stock Build 9, is in outfit at the Diverse Marine yard on the Isle of Wight, UK.
The vessel completed fabrication with Aluminium Marine and is the latest vessel progressing through the Diverse Marine Finance & Lease Programme.
Energy solutions company OEG expanded its offshore wind vessel fleet with the delivery of Fulmar, a multi‑purpose crew transfer vessel that will support construction of the Inch Cape offshore wind farm off the Angus coast in Scotland.
Following successful sea trials, Fulmar will provide crew and cargo transfers to the project’s offshore substation platform and service welfare units on site, managed by OEG’s Edinburgh-based team.
Inch Cape, located 15km offshore and covering 150km2, will comprise 72 turbines and a 1.1GW offshore substation, targeting enough renewable electricity to power more than half of Scotland’s households and contribute to 2030 energy goals.
Designed by Chartwell Marine Ltd, Fulmar can carry up to 24 personnel for high-speed transfers and can be configured for longer offshore assignments. It follows sister vessel Furioso, delivered in 2024, as part of OEG’s drive to modernise its 15-strong CTV fleet with lower-emission, higher-performance workboats for projects across the UK, Europe and Taiwan.
Diverse Marine constantly expanding range includes crew transfer vessels, patrol, interdiction & military craft, pilot boats & rescue craft and a wide range of work boats, all constructed to the very highest standards of build quality and performance.
