100th offshore generator to APAC region
Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) is due to deliver its 100th offshore generator to Taiwan, in support of offshore wind projects in the APAC region.
The MRE team based in Portland, Dorset is currently preparing 18 temporary power generator sets for delivery to Taiwan next month, taking the company’s combined stock within the APAC region to more than 100 sets.
The addition of these temporary power sets will make MRE the largest supplier of offshore generators within the APAC region. Alongside temporary power provision, MRE also offers Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) services to the APAC region, supporting the company’s temporary power solutions making them more efficient and reliable.
Manor Renewable Energy Ltd, and Manor Marine are OEG Offshore companies. Working with the OEG Offshore team based in Taiwan allows MRE to localise its services, with the use of the local OEG team for onshore project support and a full local marine crew operating the CTVs.
OEG is a leading provider of a range of support services to the offshore energy industry across marine logistics, equipment supply, project management, personnel, communications, cable and subsea services.
