Boskalis bring the 'Escape' craze to M&CCE Expo

Headline sponsor, Boskalis will be offering those attending the Marine and Coastal Civil Engineering Expo the chance to experience an 'Escape' room with a difference.

Fittingly, the leading global dredging and marine services contractor has set up the room in an old shipping container, with a marine and dredging theme. The container will come to M&CCE Expo direct from the Netherlands where it has proved a huge hit.

For those not in the know Escape rooms are essentially giant brain teasers. The first real life escape room was opened in Japan in around 2007, although there had been web games featuring mystery rooms prior to that date. Participants face a variety of challenges and the need to work as a team often throws up some unusual results…

Boskalis plan to create a leader board throughout the event, offering exhibitors and visitors the chance to challenge themselves and others.
