Smart way to simplify lifespan management

A smart approach to lifespan management of critical infrastructure is now available via DYWIDAG's new Smart Anchor technology.

Designed with asset owners, designers, and contractors in mind, and using the latest technology in sensor design, Smart Anchor data feeds into DYWIDAG’s cloud-based Infrastructure Intelligence platform, providing 24/7 access to detailed analytics and reporting, so users can easily monitor a structure’s performance remotely in real-time from any connected device.

Smart Anchor’s unique, low-profile force measurement sensor monitors force distribution, inclination, and water level. It is secure and easily manageable from the cloud, built on Microsoft Azure technology, and delivers vital asset health data via plug-and-play sensors.

Information is shared via email and/or SMS alerts in real-time, giving infrastructure owners the information needed to focus planning and resources, complete maintenance, prevent major incidents, and minimise business disruption.

“We currently configure and supply more than 11 million data points each day to asset owners and operators. This year we are upgrading our technology, making it simple to essentially create a digital twin of a structure or building. New and ageing infrastructure needs to handle more stress than ever before,” said Matti Kuivalainen, CEO of DYWIDAG.

“DYWIDAG Smart Anchors make the invisible visible by delivering vital health data to the right person or software, in the right format at the right time. Asset owners can plan for the future with confidence.”

With the same strength and function as traditional anchors, but with smarter slopes and foundation, DYWIDAG says the Smart Anchor sets a new standard for anchor applications; as a smart solution designed to support a more sustainable environment.
