Success leads to expansion
The March event saw SMG provide additional training tools including online courses for Victron Power Solutions, Actisense NMEA networking and the BOS LE300 Lithium extension battery. Successfully completing dealers received accreditations and an exclusive promotional offer.
SMG is now supporting trade customers from the Group’s new south coast office/showroom facility at Trafalgar Wharf, Plymouth UK. The next events will launch with two Raymarine-focused on-the-water training days in June enabling customers to spend time on board the fully-equipped SMG Raymarine Smart Fish 25 ambassador boat.
Customers will be provided with an in-depth tuition on how to make the most of Raymarine features such as ClearCruise Augmented Reality, Quantum Radar, FLIR Thermal imaging and RealVision.
Alex Longworth, SMG’s Technical Manager, said, “It is great to finally be able to use our new facility at Trafalgar Wharf. The infrastructure we have built up at this waterside facility provides us with all the tools we need to give our trade customers an informative and interactive training experience. With the support of our key suppliers, we hope to run numerous events throughout the year.”
In July, SMG will also host a dedicated Garmin & Fusion training day with on-the-water exhibits providing exposure to the latest products that Garmin & Fusion have to offer.
